awesome id love a lesson with that jem. could you do a lesson on your lick library entry?

Will try but remeber one thing,
all those faster licks are fully improvized,
I have no idea what i was playing.
Check out original entry and the one from London,
totaly different licks.
But will think of something,I promise. smile.gif

Hey,this went huge only after one day,
thanks you soo much for your kind words and understanding
for not so great overall performance. smile.gif

To be honest with you,
deep in side of me I didn't want to win this competition.
There were many great players and I actually
think that judges made good decision with Gustavo Guerra,
he had most of the votes and that's what claims who's the idol,
mass public and not the judges.
Maybe I'm wrong.
And there are few other reasons as well.
First of all,I already won Jem from LickLibrary and
they were co-organisers here as well.
So it might have look like fixed or som, dunno.
Second, now I have 2 guitars to bring back home
and I don't have any idea what to do at the airport,
imagine another one and an amp. laugh.gif

So basicly all I wanted is to have some
fun at the stage is London, drummer had a gap
eventualy it all went fine, specialy on LickLibrary stand later on.
I have bunch of clips and shots which means a lot to me. smile.gif

Plus Chris and I will meet in next few days again. wink.gif

So are you reffering to Chris Feener ?

How did the other contestants do ?

Such as Rain, Chris Feener, etc etc.

Muris, just on a practical level: try getting some certificate or proof that your Jem was given to you for free, otherwise you may have problems with the customs when you come back home with 2 instruments. It happened to me some time ago.

Muris, I understand what you're saying about mass appeal versus the ability to please the judges. I think it's a combination of the two. But the mass appeal thing can only go so far. I mean, if you set yourself on fire and did eight finger tapping, you would've gone over big. From the judges' perspective, it should only be about your ability to burn it up with a good melodic sense. And you can do that, my friend. Gustavo Guerra is an incredible player, no doubt. But, so are you. So, yeah, it doesn't really matter that you didn't get first place. You were there, and you picked up your JEM from kicking ass in another contest. Believe me man, people took notice.
