The GMC Recognition Program (REC)
Welcome to our 3 step program towards progress! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is how the program works, everyone can do it regardless of skill and the results are always positive : 1. RECORD - Practice a GMC lesson that you like. - Download the backing track. - Record a video of your playing along the backing track. 2. UPLOAD - Upload the video of your playing to Youtube. - Click on the "post your take" button in the GMC lesson, paste the Youtube video link and push the "Submit REC Thread" button (not visible to guests). 3. MAKE PROGRESS Your REC take will appear in this board. Instructors will grade your submission and give you valuable feedback on your playing. Recording yourself has proven to be the best way towards progress. Not only that you need to practice hard to record the video, but you will have a clear picture of your progress by watching videos you made in the past. Shooting the video will give you a totally new perspective on your playing and with the help of GMC instructors you will easily identify areas you need to work on to become a great guitar player. YES - it is that EASY. Go for it! NB - You need a GMC account to participate, signup here. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Hey there, I would like to upload a video within the rec program. But I am not experienced in recording with video. Is there somewhere a description on GMC how to do it? Let's say I record the take in Logic as I always do and I record it somehow simultaneously with my Camcorder. My main question is, how do I syncronise the audio file with the video file? Thanks You are right. Once you have audio and video, you need to synchronize them in the video editing software like (Windows Movie Maker, Sony Vegas, iMovie etc). Check out this useful video on this topic : -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
