Welcome to the family George,

Best advice, enjoy yourself, enjoy the journey, don't get too hung up on the destination, there isn't one. You will most definitely improve here at GMC, get a mentor to advise you on a personal level.

Have fun smile.gif

Hi George! Welcome to GMC!

The main goal is to get fun while playing, that's the key to progress as a musician so take your time to explore the site and bookmark those lessons that you like more and that motivate you to play. We have some really cool features like collabs and forum workouts where we make music together, and you can also make use of the REC and mentoring programs to be guided by instructors.

I'm here every day ready to help you so feel free to write me via PM or at this thread and I'll help you design your guitar plan.

Enjoy the site!

Hey there and wellcome to GMC smile.gif I hope you'll enjoy your time here and get know with a lot of other members and instructors. One of very important things at the beginning is to share some of your playing so we could get familiar with your overall playing level and then to be able to advice some lessons for exmaple smile.gif

If you're ok with that I can take care of the collab. I would need a few days to prepare Nightwish-like track with orchestration taht would be...epic I hope smile.gif Just let me know if you approve and I can start making things real wink.gif

Sure man! We've all strated with a very basic tools that were somewhere around - like cellphones cam, skype-type web cam or similar. Everything will come in a proper time. For the moment you can use whatever you are able to. Most important is to keep having fund with all of us smile.gif

The only problem is that the guitar solo have to be recorded separately from the backing, because it goes fopr a further edit. But this can be done with a laptop as well...PM me on what exact equipment you own so I could help you figure out how to record things wink.gif
