For more "pro" sounding video you shouldn't use cam mic for audio.
What we do is that we record audio and video separately, audio in some DAW (Cubase, Logic, Sonar etc) and video on cam. Then we mix both in video editing software like Sony Vegas, WMM... This might be useful. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/misc-less...rding-tutorial/ -------------------- Youtube

Hi Muris, Thanks for the link it was very useful and I think I have the idea now. I run Sonar 5 and have Pod xt so I will try it out and link the video and Audio with windows media player. Tony Hello, Check out this tutorial : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/misc-less...rding-tutorial/ If you have an external mic input on your Sony Camcorder you can mix the sound on your PC and connect its sound cards output with that mic input you have on your camera so you will get everything in sync and recorded in one place - both audio and video. That is how I record my videos. If you need any more help just ask... Hope this was helpful, Bogdan Radovic -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

If you can it may be worth updating to Sonar 8 anyway Tony.
Sonar's a nice DAW generally and very popular in the US and some of the vsts are very good. Upgrade is around 175UK Sterling as here but you may be able to get it for less as 8 has been out for a bit. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer.
