Does anyone have some experience and maybe advice as far as tone settings? There are some supermodel patches that sound awesome, but I cannot afford them, and not down with jumping on the ol' pirate ship, but gosh if anyone knows a way to dial in some great metal tones with this thing, I would very much appreciate it! biggrin.gif Or, and comments about it at all? smile.gif

Eeek! No Replies? I"m Guessing nobody has a GNX but me smile.gif Mine is an ooooooold GNX3 but close to the four. I really just started twisting knobs and eventually liked it. Bout a year of that made me finally want to read the manual. It's really worth reading as it's a complicated box. I ended up reseting mine to factory default twice and starting over. It's fun to tweak on though smile.gif The good news for GNX4 folks is you have USB! You can download patches and try them out. Here is the link to the GNX Archive.

And here is the link to your GNX4 Manual!

Google be praised! smile.gif Without it I'd have never found this stuff.

I have a GNX4 but its been on the shelf since 4-5 years. sad.gif Tried to sell, nobody was interested.

I never played with the settings on it though, just downloaded what others had and normally played with the solo preset. It started to pierce my ears before I decided to get something that has tube. smile.gif

I have never used it, I have only one experience with Digitech products and it was negative so I have never bought another thing. By the way it seems that the Gnx4 has many options to select for creating a tone so you should be able to get the tone that you are looking for. Check out the patch library that Todd linked in his post. It should be a good starting point.
