Does anyone have some experience and maybe advice as far as tone settings? There are some supermodel patches that sound awesome, but I cannot afford them, and not down with jumping on the ol' pirate ship, but gosh if anyone knows a way to dial in some great metal tones with this thing, I would very much appreciate it! Or, and comments about it at all? -Tucker Eeek! No Replies? I"m Guessing nobody has a GNX but me Mine is an ooooooold GNX3 but close to the four. I really just started twisting knobs and eventually liked it. Bout a year of that made me finally want to read the manual. It's really worth reading as it's a complicated box. I ended up reseting mine to factory default twice and starting over. It's fun to tweak on though The good news for GNX4 folks is you have USB! You can download patches and try them out. Here is the link to the GNX Archive. http://www.digitech.com/soundcomm/guitar_l...p?productid=199 And here is the link to your GNX4 Manual! http://www.digitech.com/system/documents/7....pdf?1289514896 Google be praised! Without it I'd have never found this stuff. Todd This post has been edited by Todd Simpson: May 27 2012, 05:12 AM |

I have never used it, I have only one experience with Digitech products and it was negative so I have never bought another thing. By the way it seems that the Gnx4 has many options to select for creating a tone so you should be able to get the tone that you are looking for. Check out the patch library that Todd linked in his post. It should be a good starting point.
