Practicing 7 hours is not recommended if you don't practice regularly 5-6 hours. Your muscels are not used to that sort of training and can be damaged. Maybe the pain will pass, but be aware that later in life you will suffer greatly because of those 7 hours days. Be consistent above all and practice regularly every day, whetter it is 1 hour or 5 hours, just do it on the regular basis and warm up before you do it. This way you greatly reduce any potencial muscle problems in the future.

I can deal with the pain... Ive got tattoos, so its nothing compared to that.. Im just happy that im motivated to play all the time again.. Hey mate, I developed an injury a while back from doing exactly the same thing - you cant just ride through the pain, if you feel it you need to stop immediately otherwise its only going to get worse! Think about it - you wouldnt play a sport if you had just broken your leg! - Kris will tell you the importance of this, he's got a stickie in his personal forum about injury. I wrote this article for the wiki that you might find informative: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/wiki/inde...itar_and_injury -------------------- Don't Panic.
