Namely this track. But it is very popular so I assume the problem lies on my end 😅

Oh, I thought you meant from Thirteenth Step smile.gif 3 Libras is from Mer de Noms, I believe.

Yeah I mostly listen to the Spotify selection of tracks - so I wasn't really sure where the track originated from.

No worries. I've only recently been trying to use Spotify more. I honestly don't "listen to music all the time" as some people do. I tend to like a bit of silence, and if I do listen to music I usually find it on YouTube or listen on my CD player while in the kitchen. laugh.gif

Ah yes, I remember that the first album was less produced and more raw. I also thought that you were referring to the second album.

I have to say as I brace myself for ridicule from some on the forum, I was decorating the other week and put Taylor Swift Speak Now World Tour Live on.
Such fun great country pop songwriting. I was thinking what a blast it must have been to be one of the guitarists on that tour.

I'd say early Taylor Swift was a guilty pleasure, but to be honest I don't feel that guilty biggrin.gif

The track "Paradise Drive" came on my iPod today, remembered what a cracking album this was. Not all instrumental, some really good tunes and some variation. Which one is your favourite?

I couldn't find it anywhere on YouTube so made a playlist in SoundCloud, had to convert the m4a files to mp3.

The guitarist ran a music school in the UK, you can contact him via LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/maurizio-miele-556b1059/ there is a Facebook page dedicated to friends of the school https://www.facebook.com/The-Di-Maurizio-Sc...36754853190025/

TONY MCALPINE and GEORGE LYNCH did a duet on this track and It's still one of my faves. I run across it now and again and still enjoy it wink.gif Anyone else remember this tune?

P.S. This video is ANCIENT and probably dubbed from VHS so please forgive the quality

Stiff Little Fingers are an Irish punk rock band from Belfast, Northern Ireland. They formed in 1977, at the height of the Troubles. They started out as a schoolboy band called Highway Star (named after the Deep Purple song), doing rock covers, until they discovered punk. After six years and four albums, they split up. They reformed five years later, in 1987. Despite major personnel changes, they are still touring and recording. In 2014, the band released their tenth studio album and a world tour followed its release. Jake Burns, their lead singer, is the only member to have been with the band during all its incarnations, but in March 2006, original bass guitarist Ali McMordie rejoined them following the departure of The Jam bass player Bruce Foxton after fifteen years.

I loved this album and I'm going to get it again. Certainly not what I expected from the man at the time of release but I love the rhythms, the syncopation, the whole groove.

What do you all think?

Cracking album came up in my car today. First track probably wouldn't be politically correct nowadays but it was an anti racism song.

The whole album isn't on YouTube in one video, but here are some songs from it. It kinda pops into my memory every now and again. This is rap/hiphop, but in a laid back way, in my opinion.
