God, anyone else worship him like i do? probably one of the greatest riff writers of all time, Iced Earths stuff is so Powerful, its a fist made of heavy metal with a gauntlet of Steel crushing your soul in every song, almost every song anyway.

Jon Schaffer is the one with the BC Rich, on the left, if your facing the stage.
Also he does all the vocals on the last song

I think he also plays in Deamons&Wizards - and that band rules with Hansi Kürsch.

I hadn't heard of these guys before. You're right though, the guitars are pretty sick.

The singer they have now is also ( Or was ....) the singer of Judas Priest during Demolition and Jugulator, Tim Ownes, as seen here.

On the reckoning, the part from 3:10 to like 3:17, Rippers voice sends chills up my spine that shatter my soul.

yea that bands awesome. They got some really brutal riffs just sometimes those riffs don't really last as long as you would like them before so go into another clean bit and loose all the energy. but still, their awesome.

I never had a problem with that though biggrin.gif

anyway, if you like long lasting brutal riffs, storm rider from start to finish is pretty intense, or try Disciples of the lie, thats an intense song
