Living in Oslo..2 km from the parlament. Me and my family is ok, but this is just insane..Broken windows all over the city, major buildings and trainstation has been evacuated. The police are requesting everyone to get home and stay inside until further notice.
Like a warzone

Can't believe this. Hope all your friends are ok, Finny.. and prayers to everyone in Oslo.

OMG what happened unsure.gif that is terrible news, really a tragedy, the biggest tragedy is that is human made incident, such things really worries me as a human sad.gif

Posted by: Sollesnes Jul 22 2011, 08:31 PM

Not to be disrespectful, but it's not much worse than what's happening in the middle east and other places. It's just closer. Just a matter of time... Very sad, yes, of course. Equally sad about it happening other places.

This is probably by right-wing extremists.

Norway is the most active in the bombing of Libya. Wouldn't be suprised if it's relatiation from that.

Posted by: MickeM Jul 22 2011, 08:33 PM

To make it even worse now someone is shooting people at a youth camp in Norway sad.gif

Posted by: Marek Rojewski Jul 22 2011, 08:46 PM

Sollesnes really suspect right-wing guys? I doubt it really, most modern Scandinavian "nazis" are just mentally challenged children. I bet Muslims are behind this. Most probably Norwegian government provided them with some spare cash to pursue a hobby, and they decided to secure their place beside Allah.

Very sad situation, but these things will happen more and more, these are logical consequences of "European" policies, which are supported by the vast majority of citizens.

EDIT: no disrespect, but I am somehow irritated how the media respond to such things. Statistically 3000 people die in car accidents every day, but because it isn't as exiting as a bomb nobody speaks about it.

There is nothing religious about this act. Terrorist acts itself has nothing whatsoever do to with islam...
The one who did the shooting, who is also connected to the bombing, is a native ,white norwegian, known to the police, and rumors sais he is connected to neonazism. The labour party are the ones struck in both places.

Bringing islam or muslims into this is incredibly ignorant.

edit: just to get it clear: the act is clearly politically motivated.

It's really a big shame if we look around...let's hope ...there's still hope - to cite Marco Sfogli..

Posted by: Adrian Figallo Jul 22 2011, 11:12 PM

thats very sad, and regardless to the motivation to do this or who made it, this is horrible for the innocent people.

your right wing comment is foolishness, there has been proof of no one yet , and the forum does not need these baseless accusations

He is caught, and is a right-wing extremist.
Sure, not guilty until judged though.

But sure, before there was definite proof, I shouldn't have voiced my speculations smile.gif
