I am a beginner to guitar playing, even though I did play back when I was a teenager. I didn't get too good though, learning only some chords and rythm parts to some songs I like. For these first couple of weeks I have been here I have mainly been reading Andrew Cockburn's theory lessons and learning the minor pentatonic scale boxes. This has helped me a great deal with knowing where to find notes all over the fretboard (something I didn't have a clue about before, other than the open strings I am struggling with my timing a bit, but maybe with a little more practice I will have it down.
