I never thought of the lessons themselves as something to be "completed" but rather they are a showcase of maneuvers, a collection of style and musical assembly which we must incorporate into our own playing (instead of trying to play them note for note perfectly).
You're right in a way.
I just thought about if I don't want to learn new stuff, I would just look up what I've learned before.
So that I have some cool riffs or solos to play.
