Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Cool Josch,

I can see you have put some work into this!

Around 00:33 you start to gradually loose sync, and your riffing gets less and less tight.

Generally when trying to keep a steady alternate picking run for a long time, it helps to be as relaxed as possible in your right hand - otherwise it is easy to loose control because of increased hand tension.

If you could keep the tightness of the first half throughout the whole piece, this would be a great take! You get a 6 from me.

Hey there again!
I definitely feel that there's a common issue in your overall playing and in general you need to find a solution for your right hand. Experiment with your resrting points, change pick angle, experiment with pick thickness....do whatever comes to mind and see which position makes you able to get even time and tone of each note. It's now not necessary a matetr of just the practise. It's a good moment to test your hand layout and find the best one for you. It can really change things in a blink of an eye.

Hi mate!

Great to see you training your rhythm skills!

You are getting very close with this one, but you need more time in order to be able to play the whole thing tight with the backng track. It seems that your right hand gets tired after 20/25 seconds and this means that you need more training. I wonder if you start to feel your hand tired while playing.

I recommend you to keep this lesson in your diary routine for some more days and share a new take, maybe in 1 week.

Keep on the hard work!
