I have never named any of my guitars.....maybe I should, but I've never been able to come up with a fitting name. I do have a black SG that I jokingly call "Vampira" occasionally, but that's about it.

How awesomely appropriate! biggrin.gif

I name everything and everyone (even if they already have names), so naturally I named my guitars.

My Gibson Sonex's name is "Sledge" -- If you've ever held one you know why, this thing is a brick. I play it in constant fear that I'm going to drop it on my foot and never be able to walk again.

I named my BC Rich Virgo "The Halberd" because it's pretty axe-like in appearance and needed a name just as over-the-top as the design.

This topics a little bit old, but what the heck.

My 1990 Jackson SL1 Soloist is named Lydia.

From the song : The Psalm Of Lydia.

Thought I would bump this old thread as for the first time ever I have named a guitar.

I have named my RRT1 in Bengal Yellow, Helena (After Helena Bohnam Carter) Why because its unusual to look at, yet there's something oddly attractive about it lol
