Hi,

I have struggled for many years with this problem but now that I have more time to play I would like to improve this. I guess a lot of guitarrists suffer from the same problem as me. We can tremolo picking at a decent and constat speed on a single string but when we want to do the same across several strings we are choppy.

I have tried to loose my hand. Tried several ways and angles for the prick grab, etc. and nothing have worked for me.

To give a bit more of information, this problems seems to be more obvious when there are less notes per string (I know it is ovious, less notes = more string changes smile.gif). For example, a simple minor pentatonic at root note. I can play it at 120/130 bpms at 4 notes per tick but I can't get any higher.

Are there any good exercises, tips, etc. to improve in this subject?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Today I was looking for a metronome that allow progressive speed (Start at a speed and keep increasing it by a certain step from a % to another %). Guitar PRO does this but it dosen't stop when it gets to the end fo the range. It keeps playing without stop when using the speed triner.

I have been looking for soem android apps and did not find anything like that either.

Do anybody know of any good progressive metronome that could achieve that? I'm mainly looking for something like guitar pro speed trainer but need it to stop when the programmed range is done.

Cheers

Hi,

These days I am playing some In flames stuff and I would like to play songs along. The problem is that this guys (like a lot of metal bands) doesn't play in a standard tunning. I have come across the idea of using a real time transposer plugin of something to let me play with standar tunning but outputing audio to my monitors with a transposed sound. Is this possible? I use reaper and Amplitube.

Cheers.

Hi,

I have been practicing scales (Just diatonic open/closed shapes and pentatonic for Am) and I would liketo know how do you pratice the shifting of boxes along the neck. I mean, I can move verticaly in a scale box but it is really difficult for me to move horizontally using seconds, fourths, etc... along the neck across differnet scale positions.

Is there any way to improve this hability and any way to test the progress?

P.D: One idea that has come to mind is for example moving through the boxes taking tonics as a reference but for me it still is pretty difficult to move around using this trick.

Thanks.

Hi,

I have a little problem with Amplitube and reaper. I want to be able to hear my guitar with fx right inside reaper but the only thing I get is a dry sound. If I record some chords I can see how the amplitube effect is added to the recorded track but no in real time. Is there any way to accomplish this?

P.D: I own a Docusrite Scarlett 2i4.

Cheers.
