It's called ceviche:

That's a very soft white-meat fish, cooked just with lemon, it also has onions, rocoto (spicy), peruvian lemon (very acid), sweet potatoes and yellow chili called "aji amarillo".

I went to this Peruvian restaurant called Machu Pichu, and ordered just a random plate off the menu. When it arrived I was intrigued by what was on the plate; it looked like lumps of fat. I assumed it was a normal for Peruvian food to have that much fat on a plate, and proceeded to eat it, thinking that underneath it there would be actual meat. As I was eating it I noticed its texture and taste was different than fat. I really didn't know what it was. I went through half the plate and did not come across one piece of meat, so I was a bit perplexed, and called the waiter over. I asked him what was this fatty substance, and he replied, "lamb stomach, traditional Peruvian dish."

First time I ever had lamb stomach. It was pretty good though biggrin.gif

This is "Bandeja paisa" one of the typical meals in the coffee zone of Colombia. It doesn't just look like a bomb. It is! I mean literally for your stomach! tongue.gif it's quite good though

In Denmark we eat a lot of dark ryebread (Rugbrød), which our neighbouring countries do not really enjoy.
It's not like it just tastes so great that I would eat it all the time, but I do it every week, and it's healthier than white bread.

And pork roast (Flæskesteg) is on the table at Christmas with fat heavy brown sauce and potatoes (regular or caramelized).

I must admit I really like Mediteranian, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Chinese better than traditional Danish food, which is quite heavy and fat.

I know what you eat, i can't remember the name tho, it's live salty/spicy?, lamb stomach is very tasty, a bit to much fat to eat often tho.
