The choice of a guitar is something very personal in my opinion, you should not listen to whatever we tell you here, you should play your possible candidates as much as you possibly can and then pick what you liked better. But if you want an advice... GIBSON!!!!!!!!! wink.gif For me nothing comes close to a Les Paul tongue.gif

Yes that is very true. Get what fits you best.

As far as choosing a guitar with certain tremolo make sure you get something your comforable with because certain tremolos are a pain in the ass when it comes to adjusting them until you learn how to do it the right way.

Of course a Les Paul is a heavy guitar, but I just don't like light guitars, in my opinion they don't sound as good, specially live. Also the thick necks of Gibsons add a lot to the sound and I just love to FEEL the neck in my hand, I never got along with those thin ones. Don't get me wrong though, I am not cursing other guitars, there are many great guitars out there... for me it has to be a Les Paul though tongue.gif

I have a Gibson Les Paul Standard and it's the best thing I ever bought. Every other guitar I have ever picked up since pales in comparison. I have been in the market for a second guitar now for months and Ibanez was at the top of the list. But after this week I've realized I am a Gibson girl and will always be a Gibson girl.

Try them both man and then decide. It's the only way to truely decide.
