Hi there you all!
Well, where to start. Let's start with some personal stuff. My name is Robin, a 27 years old dude from the Netherlands. I've been on this site before, years ago (2007/2008?) but I guess it just wasn't the right time for me
I've been playing guitar since 15 years old, had 2 years of practice with a teacher 1-1 back then. After that I played in a band, just for fun really. Nothing special. I never really thought of myself as being a good player, but I was always interested and impressed by others.
This website pulled me back (must be faith or something ) and got me impressed all over again. Various lessons I have watched all over again (also, the level 9 and 10 difficulties, with an open mouth...), and I simply love it.
Then, over to my 'gear'. I had this beginnersset for years (for like 50 euros) and I know that since I"m a starter and all, quality maybe doesn't matter that much. But I was always in love with the Les Paul model. So, after deciding what to do, I did bought an Epiphone Les Paul standard model and I'm in love with it! It makes me so motivated with playing it and I played the last two weeks every day for at least half an hour.
I also got back on this site again and tried some lessons already (licks from Christopher, lessons from Bear, Gabriel, Muris) and I'm loving it bigtime
So, that's it for now, I hope to find guitarmasters like I already did and learn a lot from them. I love every kind of style and give them all a try. Right now, I'm starting low on lessons difficulty level 3 or 4, but I'll be there one day
Thanks already for this website and speak soon
Robin
And... starting with Todd's 100 right now
