"electric" Guitar, Problem

hei there
i have a little problem with my guitar:
i get a little electricity shock when i plug my squier strat in my vox valvetronix ad50vt
also this is when the guitar is pluged into the amp and i touch the strings, i get a little more when i touch a string and stand barefoot, and i get much more elctricity when i touch a string and with the other hand touch the window frame (metal)
this happens if the amp is on or off.
i dont understand why this i happenig. is it something wrong with my guitar or my amp?
is it ment to be like this?

Looking For A New Guitar

hello there

since i began playing guitar ive been playing a squier stratocaster and i guess its a bad guitar so for a long time ive been thinking about buying a new one, so here are those guitars i like the most in my budget (1000-1500):

gibson les paul studio
gibson les paul bfg
ibanez rg prestige
maybe some others too but dunno names

so the problem is that i havent tried any one of these (just seen them at internet stores)
and maybe its a problem if i havent tried it before buying it
so i dont know if i should buy a new guitar now whidout triying it
so please give some advise or opinions about it

Teaching Other People

hi there gmc people

today two friends of mine asked me if i could give them some guitar classes i told the that gmc exists and its wonderful but they said that the havent interner nor guitar to practice on (not sure abuat grammar on last line)
so they wanted me to theach them a little, so they could see if they like to play guitar, to see if they buy a guitar or not
i think its a great idea because i could earn some money for each class ( not much ) and it can be helpful for me to.

so i was thinkig and planning what to theach then in the first classes
so here is what i need form you:

ideas of what i can theach them so they dont get bored or frustrated about their playing (they are complete beginners both of them)
if you have any ideas tell me

New Amp

hi

here is christian again, since i bought my first guitar (a squire beginner pack) ive been using the sqiuer sp10 amp and i hate it. it has soooo ugly sound and i was thinking about buying new one. the best i found was line 6 spider 3, there arent many music stores here so....

i was wondering what is your opinion about this amp i think it sounds very nice with all the effects and all that....

so tell me, if you have any other suggestion in that price range (about 400-500 dollars)

hi everybody

my name is christian, ive been around here on gmc for about a half year and ive never intruduced myself so here i am.
ive been playing guitar for two years now, and i want to play very well with time.
forgive me that i dont write so good english, im from ecuador in south america, and here we talk spanish so well...
let me say that gmc is the best place for everyone who wants to learn playing guitar im very glad with it
