Hey Filipe!
In this topic, I´ll give you your personal homework IF you get a + in the group assignment.
Good luck!
As you requested, Not sure if this is the proper way but, I would like something to work on my alternative picking in a large speed, I've been trying to force my hand to go even faster but not sure if it's clean enough, I never went out of my speed limit dued to that.
Thanks
Filipe, speed is the result of hard practise and time. You have to extremely patient and hard-working to achieve a certain cleanness in your fast runs. The first step is the synchronization of both hands. Yours is already not bad, but it´s always good to practise. Here we go with the first lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/alternate-workout/. This lesson is very fast (130 bpm), but our goal is tempo 90 bpm for now. First, learn and understand the principe of the lesson. Consequently, you should have memorized the whole lesson. This can take a few days of practise. Don´t forget to use straight Alternate Picking. When you can play the lesson without looking at the tabs, set your metronome at 70 (or take the backing track) and play and send me a take. I´ll tell you when we can speed up.
Practise hard!
Hey Tolek, been trainning the lesson slowly but I haven't forgotten about it . Will try to post a take on the weekend...
Hi mate, I tried to do a take like I said, but I fear I still need some practise in some passages, for example I ain't used to jumping between strings like, how should I explain...

Get it? there are some passages like this there and I want to show you a good take before posting, what are your suggestions?
Clear?
Looking forward to your take!
Nevermind
The problem wasn't knowing how to play it, it's playing it clean Maybe a bit more practise
Yeah, That's what I'm doing...Well, gonna try to explain properly...It's not cleanness actually, I explained it wrong, it's hiting the string with the right timing, cause I'm not use to that sort of position, I never did use it in my playing dued to my "fat" fingers that got in the way
Yeah, I know, just practising...Actually doing it pretty decent atm, the last problem I need to fix before recording a take is the last lick
