Could anyone give me some tips on keeping my fingers close to the fretboard at all times? My previous guitar instructor stressed this with me, but he never gave me any methods or tips to do so. I think it's something that can greatly improve my technique and speed once I master it!

Hey man! Thanks for the tip. I am preparing a speedpicking lesson right now and i'll include a little explanation on that in it - it will be there on Monday!
