Hi everyone my name is lee

I new to gmc ,and i'm a beginner.I'm serious about the guitar and would like
to start off on the right foot.

I need tips on how to hold the pick in different playing situations.
Also i've noticed the a minor & e minor pentatonic boxes have the same
shapes but at different locations on the fretboard. Are all scales like this
such as c major & e major?also if i play a scale in different keys how
do i know where to put these boxes on the fretboard in relation to
the key i'm already familiar with?

Welcome Lee! smile.gif

You have understood it correctly - the scales are moved around by putting the root notes on the apropriate plaes. (if the root note is D, you will have a D scale).

Exactly the same way as done with the powerchords lesson.
