What's up GMC'ers?

To the canucks on this site this band needs no intro but for everyone else....The Tragically Hip are Canadian icons. They've been around since 1983 and they are still going strong. To the best of my knowledge it's all the original members still and they put on some amazing performances. I've seen them about 15 times and they are always great.(seeing them again in sept. can't wait) The lead singer, Gordon Downie, has such a unique voice IMHO and is so crazy live. They have had some success in the USA but pretty much outside Canada they are not very well known....just thought I'd share them with you hope you enjoy.

These are just a few of my faves...I hope you check them out further as these guys rock. (other songs to check out would be Grace, too, Little Bones, Bobcagyen, Nautical Disaster, and Locked in the trunk of a Car but I could just go on and on....)

"Fact is, nothing in the world bores me more than gear...If I played thru your rig, I would still sound like me. Van Halen would sound like Van Halen. Brian May...etc. Very early in my career I decided to focus on creating music and not being a guitar tech. Being a good guitar tech is a very different and extremely difficult job, so why not leave it to a pro?"
