Just returned from a rehearsal where it was cold as hell! Never going there back again
 How do you manage to keep yourself warm when doing cold rehearsals or gigs?

Sometimes it gets cold in the house. If available, I drink coffee, or run my fingers under warm water - but not too long, because then I will mess up my hands.

It's very dangerous to play with your fingers cold because of the weather. I can hurt my fingers because of it. The best way to solve this is to wet my fingers with hot water. If this is not possible using gloves before playing and warming up slowly could help.
I remember this as one of the coldest days for a Cirse's show. It was a competition to play in a festival and it was around 12 am in winter and we had to play 2 songs. -------------------- My lessons

i HATE to play with my hands cold, i just try to strech and keep them warm anyway i can, but i never play like that.

Soda bottle with warm water that you can hold.

Set up a refrigerator box with a hole cut in the top for your head to stick out, and keep the rest of your body and guitar in the box! Be sure to hang a spare guitar with fake hands on the outside of the box - you gotta keep your cool appearance you know
 Playing in the cold is terrible. Especially when the neck and strings are cold to the touch. I would have one of those stage heaters that blow warm air pointed at me at all times if I knew I needed to do any licks - or I just wouldn't play cuz that could cause injury- especially if you have to grab for a 2 string index finger bend! ouch! -------------------- The more I practice, the more I wish I had time to practice!
