Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Great job on learning the piece!

Concentrate on intonation. Listen really carefully to what you are playing. And also sing OUT LOUD in tune to start making progress on this.

Don't do vibrato yet, just leave the notes sitting there perfectly pitched for now

Hey Tyson!

Really nice take. What I'd suggest is to try and even out your vibratos a bit. Some are really nice, and some are not. You have a very nice at the end of the take. You should also try and practice scales which involves alternate picking, that means up-down-up-down constantly. You tend to pick everything downwards, and when you pick upwards, your picking becomes a little bit sloppy. With scale practices, this will improve a lot.

Your timing is great, your sound is nice, although I'd use just a little bit less chorus.

Great job!
Cheers

Well done. Your bends are well controlled and so is your vibrato, but they are not that precise and secure. Try to make them more precise, and security will come in time. Sound could be more defined too.
