Hi Tim,

We are working together at my mentoring thread where I monitor your progress and give feedback every time you share a new take of this one and the other lessons that we are working. This means that you already know my thoughts about this take.

In order to summarise the things that you need to polish on this take here is a list:

- timing: This is not a dramatic issue, but it appears mostly when playing faster passages that connect phrases. I think that as soon as you become familiar with the whole lesson, the timing issues will disappear, just have it in mind.

- Two string arpeggios: The arpeggios played at the end of the lesson are not sounding complete, there is one note (the pull off) that isn't sounding there.

- Cleanness: There are many licks that should sound clearer and cleaner. Isolate the trickier ones and work on them as isolated exercises. Also avoid unwanted noises from strings that should sound.

- Vibrato and dynamics: One you polish the previous things, focus on this two elements.

That's all, keep on the hard work!

Hey Tim! Actually that's one of my favorite takes of yours since last few months. Your clean tone control seems to be a little better than distorted tones. I liked overall expression and intonation. First half is really strong but in the second half, precision and timing issues appear. Anyway those are little ones, and there is not much to complain here.

In the final arpeggios that's a good thing you bring attention to accents. Try to play rest of the notes just a little harder so they won't get lost in the mix ok?

Around 0:46 - you need to fix this lick. Some notes were missing right hand stroke.

Hi Tim. As Darius said, this is one of the best REC takes that we've seen from you in some time. It's a very confident performance.

The tone is sounding good, not too bright and not to dull.

Your timing is generally in the right area, especially during the first half of the take. As the lesson progresses the difficulty increases, so there are some areas where the timing isn't as accurate.

Your bending and vibrato are getting better as well.

As always, isolate and work on any licks that you can't play 100%. If you're missing some notes then look at the licks and determine the cause. It could be the speed of the licks or a lack of coordination or even finger strength / speed.

Good work!
