Phew finally finally - Marcus and I have yet a finished song! This one was really difficult for me to sing as the song's speed and intensity required razor sharp singing performance...which I don't have. unsure.gif So hopefully you will excuse us for taking a couple of months to finish this one...

Enlightened Death

You might also want to check the full blog post (where you can read about all my singing failures and Marcus' patience...! blink.gif laugh.gif )

Cool song I like it! smile.gif
I think your voice is good for this kinda music, I mean you don't need a perfect singer for this kinda music IMO wink.gif
My guess would go that the solo was Marcus, am I right?

Little OT but how's the "Load for life" doing?

Awesome work huys this sounds phenominal to me,

if I was to make one criticism the guitar sounds a bit synthetic in places but overall fantastic

Thanks guys I am overwhelmed!! laugh.gif

Tuubsu - yes that is Marcus! Also I agree that you don't need perfect voice for this kind of thrashy tune - but my problem was that since it went so fast it was hard to get tight, "keeper" vocal takes - and when screaming like a madman I didn't have too many chances until my voice was tired (probably bad technique)...

Thanks! again! biggrin.gif

Thankas again! biggrin.gif And thanks for the album encouragements biggrin.gif

Owen - the lyrics about driving too fast (and all that follows) - I am pasting them here:

I have always wanted to fly but I never wanted to die
Looks like I’m about to see the light

A cold-hearted criminal feeling sets the standard in the city tonight
No man is walking safe or sane, speed delivers fire with light
I’ll give it one shot, two shots, three shots

I have always wanted to fly but I never wanted to die
Looks like I’m about to see the light
GO! GO! At the speed of light - enlightened death tonight

Roadmap rage, 227 mph, is coming right through your door
No man’s going to be praying for your life when you hit the local store
In the first turn green, second turn red, in the third… In the third? OH MY GOD YOU’RE DEAD!

I have always wanted to fly but I never wanted to die
Looks like I’m about to see the light
GO! GO! At the speed of light - enlightened death tonight

biggrin.gif

I've read some previous comments about Kris voice, and apparently he sounds like:

* A young Dexter Holland
* James Hetfield
* Alice Cooper
* Billy Corgan
* Devin Townsend

... now, if he's sounds like mixture of all those he must be qualified to say he’s got a style of his own, right!? laugh.gif

Wow it's fantastic to be rewarded with all this positive feedback - it's also amazing for to get this much good feedback on my voice as I am spending alot of time and energy to develop it! biggrin.gif

@ Marcus S and Trond: Feels awesome to get these comments from two metal gurus! Thanks for commenting! laugh.gif I am going to check out Devin more thoroughly!

And "Kitar masterclass metal" is not a bad interpretation! laugh.gif Could perhaps be a hit in Estonia (hmm I am obviously out on very deep water here but I think Kitar means guitar)
