GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Steve Vai Tickets

Posted by: Andrew Cockburn Jul 14 2007, 02:51 PM

I have a pair of tickets to see Steve Vai at the Webster Theatre, Hertford CT on the 3rd of October.

I no longer need them (I'm seeing him a couple of days earlier in NJ - at some casino place and my Wife suggested we make a long weekend out of it)

So these are surplus to requirements.

If anyone wants them, make me some sort of offer and they are yours! (They originally cost $27.50 each). First acceptable offer wins, although I'm not sure too many GMCers are in range of this venue ...

Im definitly in range of this and definitly interested but I will have to get back to this thread another time just to make sure before I lay down an offer

Bump ...

Any interest? I'd love a GMCer to get them ...

You could drive up to CT in less than a day wink.gif

Yeah i suppose i could do that, i mean, i just sold my car, bought tickets to megadeth and nightwish, so i would need money to buy a car to drive up there, then by tickets, then gas....

It looks a little bleak for me now sad.gif

I saw him in Nashville,Tennessee in 2005 and it was awesome.Eric Sardinas was with him for that show.Anybody ever heard of him??He is a awesome slide guitarist and he really put on a good show before Vai came out.

Dunno - they are just the basic tickets, not the fancy go-and-see-the-sound-check ones or anything. Apart from that I think that everything is cheaper in the USA for some reason (definately when compared to the UK , I know that!)

Depends on what you're getting where. The dollar really sucks these days.

Tix where I am (that'd be the Birchmere show in Alexandria, VA) are $40 plus $8.30 in service fees.

I saw Vai in 2004, if you havent seen him live, you will not be dissapointed.

After the show, i was talking to some guys about guitar for like 2 hours, after seeing Vai play, thats all we could talk about smile.gif
