Well, here I start my first collaboration and it's about the series I've been making over the Exotic Scales.
I'll leave the backing here and I want to explain a little about that.
What you're going to hear in the Mp3 is a BT that lasts like 1:30 min and has three different parts (about 30 sec. each) and every part is to solo with one particular exotic scale.

*The first part you'll have to solo with the Neapolitan Minor scale
*The second part you'll have to solo with the Neapolitan Major scale
*And the last part you'll have to solo with the Harmonic Major scale

Now....DON'T PANIC. The BT is that long so each participant can decide if they want to solo over the whole BT or to solo only over one part of the track. So, if you decide to solo over the first part you'll have to solo with the Neapolitan Minor scale for about 30 sec. so you won't have so much trouble if you're not used to change scales.
Let me know when you post your "sign in" what part of the BT you want to solo over or if you want to solo through the whole BT.
The number of participats could be up to 18 maybe, depending on how many of you will be singning in. One problem that we could have is that many of you pick one part of the BT to solo. If that happend I'll have to talk with you and try to negociate and re-asign a part of the BT so the collab doesn't have parts without any solo.
Well, now that I've explained a little bit how this BT works I want to say that you'll hear some Muse (Stockholm Syndrome) type of song so the solo could be something rocker or metal.
The tempo of the BT is quarter = 130

(The mix of the BT is not finished, once you all post the solos I'll finish the mix)

Wow, Ramiro awesome track. I started the track and along with it I also started to read you post. I was like: This sounds like a Muse-track (i was thinking about Hysteria...), and then you mention it at the end of your post biggrin.gif

Ramiro, I would like to sign up for all 3 parts. I'll try to do something that is coherent as a whole but if necessary it could be still split up into 3 different parts to fit other people's stuff! So like a solo with 3 different main parts.

Great idea for a collab, thanks again smile.gif

For the first listening it does seem to be a bit long! But I tackled some 2 min long BTs not too long ago and basically you just have to get used to it. Well surely this one's gonna be a bit different now biggrin.gif

Nice Dexxter!!!

Haha I thought there won't be many who wants to play over the whole BT but you're surprising me biggrin.gif

Sorry the keys I didn't mention :S

I've made it to play over the scales of my Exotic Series lessons.

So it would be

Neapolitan Minor and Major over C
And Harmonic Major over C too.

If you have any doubts you can check the six lessons about those three scales (they're in the Series part of the site biggrin.gif)
And you can also check the PDF that I've made that is in the theory part of my board.

I'll wait until the participants are in to give the deadline but an estimate could be mid february the final stage where I upload the whole thing finished.
So your solos could be the deadline one week before or so...
biggrin.gif

Nice, we have 5 participants smile.gif

Great so far we have:

Enforcer: whole BT

heyoka05: whole BT

Toroso: is going to decide which part to make the solo (but as far as I know is only one part, or two)

Dexxter: whole BT

berko: whole BT

I think when three or four more join could be the signing in over and we start the next phase of the collab biggrin.gif

OK, sign me up. Time to learn some new scales, I guess.
I'll do the whole 1.30 thing. Makes you struggle harder to come up with variations in soloing...

EDIT: Hope your deadline is not set too soon? Too much work, and too much of a attention-seeking 5-year old daughter makes guitar playing suffer. 2-3 weeks should be ok for me though...
