Hey, my names Nate, I'm 16 and from Texas (US), the land of the south. I started guitar a little over 2 years ago on my mom's 30 year old Alvarez acoustic. I used to skateboard, but then all my skater friends quit and started playing guitar, so I got my moms old guitar out and started messing arround with them.

Just goofed off and learned whatever current song I could find tabs to for a while. After about 7 months I got a Schecter Omen-6 electic, and a little crate 10w. Well stuff grew, blah blah, now I play guitar for a few youth groups, and i'm in a band with some friends (songwriter/singer plays piano).

I've always tried to find all I could about everything guitar from the internet, and bumped into this site a while ago, and was amazed by all the talent, and FREAKIN' AWSOME SOLO'S on here. So yeah, I like a lot of metallica type stuff, and alot of southern rock/metal (Kansas, The Showdown, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, He Is Legend), along with just about all hard rock stuff.

So great, thats me, right now I play a Schecter C1 Hellraiser (totally love it) thru a vox ad30vt and a few boss pedals. Love this site, and all the metal oriented (?spelling?) songs!
