Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Very nice!

Here I give you some feedback on vibrato & tone:

Because this lesson does not use any crazy techniques it has a low difficulty classification - which does not really consider vibrato, subtle timing etc.

You get a 7 from me - keep up the good work!

Well done on learning this piece. It's got a LOT of moving parts. Vibrato, chordy bits, etc. You manage to put all of it together and make it musical and enjoyable to listen to. It's a more complex piece than it first might seem. There are a lot of subtle vibrato bits where you are doing vibrato, but maybe not ramping it up from zero to full wag quite enough. On soft pieces of music, blues, etc. It's a good idea to start with the tone and add vibarato and then slow it back down. This is something that takes a lot of practice and kris has given some great tips here. That said I liked your performance here and I can see how much practice you put it! Solid 7 from me.
Todd

Hi Juan! Nice choice!

I can see that you are playing the whole lesson clean and with the right timing which is not a small thing. As Kris and Todd said, you have a great base but you need to work on some expression techniques in order to take your guitar playing to a new level. This techniques or elements are:

- Vibrato: Try to make it from your wrist, stronger and more regular.
- Bending: Practice this technique to reach the pitches smoothly.
- Articulation: Work on the length of the notes sound and the shape of its attack and decay.
- Dynamics: Intensities.
- Tone: Kris has already explained this topic in his video.

You can explore a lot about this topics at GMC, and we will work on them at the mentoring thread. So let me know if you have any question there.

Keep going!
