We live in a world that goes by certain rules. Every person has different idea of what success is, and guitar players usually want their music to become famous, to be heard by a lot of people, to play in front of a lot of people.
Do you think this idea is out of reach for many because of sheer luck? Do you think anybody can become great if he really wants too? What are the ingredients for success except for sheer luck, what can we actually do about it? How to become unique? How to do something new? How to push yourself higher then others? How to make an effort? What do you need to sacrifice because of that (usually this kind of success means sacrificing something that is considered "normal" in the system we live in) let's see what kind of ideas we can gather on this topic to helps us all become more successful! It can be anything, from your personal experience that helped you achieve some form of success. If it works for you, it will possibly help others too! -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

Some great replies Here is a very spiff article from ArtistHQ on myspace about this very thing. It's literally called, "Talent Alone is Not Enough" and gives you the five other elements you need. It's written by a guy who runs Music180 (an artist development platform)
