I meant the vocals sounded loose, I actually loved everything else. Including the sound of the recording, it should be a bit muddy and dirty. With better vocals (David Vincent style more than that current style I'd compare to Nathan Explosion more than anythign else, more compressed if you know what I mean, it still doesn't have to be really technical) it would be so awesome I can't describe it. And I consider myself really picky.
And please, keep posting your new songs on GMC, so I won't forget about you.
Yeah, experimenting with different vocal styles is what we are going to be focusing on in future songs (one of which should be done soon). We're both very guitar/instrument-minded people, and we pretty much just throw the vocals in as an after-thought. But I know that a lot of people who don't play guitar tend to focus more on the vocals in a song. I know i've been turned off by many bands with bad vocalists that would otherwise be decent bands (dragonforce, 3 inches of blood, nightwish come to mind), so it is something we need to work on.
And I'll definitely keep posting the songs if the feedback keeps comin!
