Hey Jer, you're the one that opened this can of worms in the first place. I went to the Ceriatone website and found the Overtone Special for around 1200. Notice how many of the reviews liken this thing to a Dumble.

I loved the terms used " tone connoisseurs" For $48,500....Must be something special for sure!

MAn $50K for a amp, its too much for my taste biggrin.gif

Posted by: audiopaal Dec 29 2008, 12:30 PM

That's way to much for an amp, special or not smile.gif

Too much money - I agree. It's more of a collector item for gear heads.

But check out this Dumble here biggrin.gif

It says:

"Sales Price: Sorry - This Amp Is Not For Sale At Any Price" biggrin.gif

Yeah, that sure is cheap. I can buy Marshall Tube Head for 1200$! biggrin.gif

Still, considering the fact that this amp has 900$ in tubes alone, it must be one hell of an amp to play!! smile.gif

Posted by: Gwazi Dec 30 2008, 02:37 AM

I wish i could play one of these

that'd be so killer

Posted by: bladzerok Dec 30 2008, 03:20 AM

wow i really would like to listen to some sounds clips of this amp ohmy.gif
btw i think it would be an ok deal to rent one of the world's best amp ever for 300$ a day(for recording or a big gig)

Posted by: Zephyr Dec 30 2008, 03:44 AM

Yeah, it's a nice amp. I've got 3 at home, don't use them much, though. I took out the tubes of one and use them as light bulbs. laugh.gif
