Brethren of the axe!!!
Very new to GMC must say i have really enjoyed the free demos. Instruction is better than most DVD's ive paid for in past. Im so impresed wiht the lessons so far and I have only just begun. I have Played for over 15 years. dont have the time or patience to learn to read music. I play by ear and read tabs when i have to. But in the music I listen to (metal) it can be quite difficult to discern notes. Anyways I hope to increase my theory which is lacking seriously. and also would like to learn more lead runs and become a better soloist. This is me in a nutshell.
Sincerely yours,
Tyler

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato
