Hey all ,
So, I've been trying to practice together with a friend of mine, we've already played some Black Sabbath together, but now we're kind of lost and don't know what/how to practice together... So I'd like to hear if anyone got tips about practicing together and some songs to try?
We both like to play rock and metal and our skill pretty avarage...
I hope you guys can help us out.
Thanks in advance.

Well, you could try some Iron Maiden. ALL their songs are great, and they're played by several guitars =)
And when you get tired of songs, let someone play chord progression and other one modes on top of it. Then switch, the first one plays modes and other one plays chords - with a metronome of course.
Yeah you should try jamming together.Like a blues or funk jam. I remember I used to practice with another guitarist the part from Dream theater Metropolis part 1(a long run in B minor played by keyboard and guitar simultaneously). We started slowly with metronome and raised the tempo bit by bit until it sounded really great
Yeah jamming is the best way to go! One practices rhythm guitar other one solo and improvisation...
Alice cooper is very good as well. Harmonize a scale together (to a metronome) with different intervals.
