GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Xbox Live anyone?

I just started playing Gears Of War on Xbox Live, and it's awesome! 
So anyone that wants to play with me can send me a PM of thier gamertag, and I'll PM you my gamertag.
And people can post on this thread that they want people to PM them thier gamertag etc....then maybe we can get a GMC team going on! 
BTW, I'm saying PM because alot of people visit this site, and I don't want alot of people I don't know sending me friend requests. But if you don't mind people seeing your gamertag it doesn't matter.

I have gears but dont play it much, Rainbow Six Las Vegas and C&C3 are much better.

Probably ranked. I only play player matches whenever I have friends over or feel like going on a teamkill rampage.

Dont have gears but i pwn at Halo 2! And can someone tell me how to set up xbox live for 360?You can get it free, by the way.

I dont believe you can get it free without stealing. Anyways the set-up is fairly simple. I use the ness. wireless adapter to pick up my wireless internet which connects me to Xbox Live
Halo 2 is a little out dated, I raped at Beta though

Actually it's not stealing. YOu just keep your free 1 month subscription going over and over. It's not like norm xbox where you have to buy it...On 360 you sign up from the menu.

i have an Xbox 360, but i cant conect to [b]Live[b]...I think its my router..sometimes its even hard for my laptop in my room upstairs to catch signal, but a new roater is arriving soon, so i hope i get to play Xbox Live Soon! Id be awesome to play Gears of War with fellow GMCers!

I used to play Xbox live like 4 years ago, mainly mech assault and rainbow six 3....

I get my xbox back tommorow if anyone is interested, ill probably go buy gears of war again because I sent it in my xbox on the way back for it toget repaired.

i have xbox live and can only play halo 2 on normal xbox because my 360 broke but i'll be getting another one soon

I'll play as long as you dont mind playing with someone who doesnt have a mic. I got so sick of the continual trash-talk on Gears, that I gave it to my friend

I play GRAW2, Gears, and Rainbow Six Vegas. My Xbox is also broken and I am waiting for it to be repaired and shipped back. My gamertag is XxLeviathanxX by the way.

I have a quick question here:
I try connecting Live, but i cant. I have a router and still wont let me. My dad thinks we need a (AHH HOW DO U SAY IT IN ENLISH!?!?) Broadband router i think, the routers that come with 2 antenas. So he says he will get one soon. But meanwhile, we tried with an ethernet cable conected to the console and computer; and still nothing works. Any ideas?
Sorry for the long question after all.

To you guys with the router problems, I'm not entirely sure if I understood the way you hooked it up, but you need to take the wire going from the modem to your computer and disconnect it. One end should go into your modem and the other to your xbox, now the xbox should have live but your computer can't go on the internet, with the router you can have both. Sorry if I just explained what you already knew and tried, but like I said I wasn't sure if you tried this.

i think we have the cable conected: ROUTER ----- CONSOLE
now, when we choose Test Xbox Live Connection...
i think its the NAT thats giving errors.
. Ill go check right now and come and postEDIT: Yes, turns out a thing such as NAT does exist
. And the NAT is the one giving me trouble, all the other stuff work correctly, but when it gets to NAT in the "Test Xbox Live Connection" page, it cant go past there. Help appreciated. Thanks
