No idea man, there's so much different things that could come from. Like if you use a transformer instead of batteries, that would be a constant buzz when the pedal is on (transformer = buzz that is)
Or if the room has flourocent lights, that's very bad. dOES YOUR fENDER HAVE COIl split and you run a humbucker setting this time? (=less hum) I think you have to find out what dofferent from the other times you have played. Different time? Lights were off? Neighbour was not running his pneumatic drill? Try with some different gear, experiment, maybe the amp is good afterall.
