Unlike Fender, who used actual fabric, they do it with a special flatbed inkjet printer... They put down the white coat, print the paisley, then add the black burst... And... All hand made, hand carved necks, as well as winding their own pickups. I never could have afforded one unless I had found this one used, at an amazing price, but it's way cheaper than Fender Custom Shop... Very faithful to vintage sound and feel... Nitro finish with a light relic, it's absolutely a dream to play and sounds fantastic! Not a shredder by any means, but perfect for blues and r&b. Also, this one is made of pine for the body (unlike the typical ash or alder), like a lot of the early Tele's were, and it still has all the twang and "spank" without any harshness in the high end. I'd highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for a hand built, vintage style guitar, at a reasonable price. Oh, and each one they build is named, after a woman. But I was curious if they are not collaborating with some well known pickup manufacturer such as Bareknuckle, for instance. Now that I got the deal with PRS, I will have to stick to those and buying another guitar which I can't use onstage, is a bit of an overkill and my wallet is not at all that fat... I am planning to get one which is as close as possible to a Tele, in respect to the sound So, maple neck and single coils are the prerequisites.
