I am a bit rusty of course but its coming back to me quickly. I am currently learning the guitar vs piano piece. My aim is to be a solid lead guitarist, be able to improvise and construct solo's. My music tastes are Nuno Bettencourt, Dream Theatre, Avenged Sevenfold.....anything Rock or Metal, but uses emotion through guitar. I think this site is great, the lessons i have briefly seen are exciting and I can't wait till i can really sink my teeth into the more difficult stuff. Hope everyone is well.... Fav Extreme album would be 3 Sides to every story...i just love the phrasing and tone of his guitar, he is an amazing player. Have u heard Mourning Widows, one of the bands he formed after Extreme? He does some amazing stuff on guitar in their first album. I am wrapped with the N4 i have, its perfect size fretboard for my hands and great tone. Thanks and Cheers!

Just saw your question on scales:
I'd say major scale (3 notes per string) and minor pentatonic are your best buds to get those fingers the much needed workout
