I picked up this beauty from the postoffice 1 hour ago, and hooked it up right away to test it out smile.gif

Attached Image

This one is modded by folkesson, awesome mod which makes the tubes work a lot more than
they normally do in this preamp. The tone controls are better etc...

Anyway, here's a clean tone test: Attached File  JMP_1_test.wav ( 33.45MB ) Number of downloads: 3034

Recorded only with my JMP-1 into my soundcard with my ESP Eclipse II.
A little EQ to make it a tad brighter as the ESP was a bit dark,
and I haven't exactly had the time to dial in the perfect tones yet tongue.gif

Sounds great to my ears, can't wait to start exploring it biggrin.gif
I can only image the cleansounds with my Tele if the Esp sounds like this biggrin.gif

Here a new Heavy clip, hopefully this sounds better biggrin.gif

Hevvistuff: Attached File  JMP_1_Heavy_test_2.mp3 ( 2.16MB ) Number of downloads: 2576

Nice tone! do you know a way i could directly record from my g-major just like you did with the jmp-1? the g-major is in my effects loop btw.

Thanks smile.gif
I'm not sure how the G-major works, but I'm pretty sure Muris uses one..
You could PM him and ask about it, I'm sure he'll help you out smile.gif

Congrats! smile.gif The JMP-1 is probably my most prized posession, hope you'll be just as satisfied with it.
That folkesson mod looks and sounds interesting.. The clean-sound in the sample sounds more spunky and spiffy than i get on my un-modded jmp! ..and it doesnt sound like EMG's at all.

Since you use G-Major in Loop I believe there is no way to record FROM G-Major
since it sends signal back to your amp with 1/4 cables.
But there are digital outputs there as well so you could give it a shot
if you have an audio card with Digital IN.

Nice sample Paal, now give us something heavy!! biggrin.gif
