Get yourself an account on del.ico.us - its a web based bookmarking site. Then download the del.ico.us extension for firefox. It completely replaces the built in bookmarking system with (IMO) a better one. It has the added advantage that you can hook the same set of bookmarks up to as many different machines as you like - maybe at home and at work. And finally if your PC blows up, your bookmarks are still out there for when you save up for a new machine
