Hey,

So it's now been aproximately a week since we moved the gmc server to the US - have any of you noticed any difference in speed, good or bad?

I think its pretty fast. Good stuff
only one complain the lessons- Have to stream 40 mb everytime..could you possibly make it downloadable or make it somehow like that if i have seen it once the next time around i dont have to load the whole thing again

If you set your browser's cache to very high I think it should do the trick.

I've not noticed any difference, if it was in Sweden before perhaps the closeness then and the speed now but it's furher away evens out. It's been pretty fast the entire time.

If you remember the forum died compleyely on me the first few days. I havn't experienced that any more so it's ok.

Video speed got considerably slower, but then again - Sweden is much closer to me than the US.

Forum speed - Slower.

Overall - Slower. But it's definitely due to the massiv echange in location.

for me the videos loaded faster before, but the forum is still as fast. Im from sweden too, so i guess that is the reason.

I was one of the first to report speed problems here. I dont now think though, that its anything to do with GMC.
Although for me it first manifested itselft here (probably due to the amount of time I spend here), I am actually suffering major speed problems internet wide and so its a problem with my ISP.

Until things get back to normal for me I cant tell but I dont think there are any speed issues with the site.

Im in the US. Ive noticed that the videos are loading a little faster. not a big difference though.

It's loading fine in the US. I joined after the switch though, so I can't compare it to anything else.
