I'm revisiting the band Thrice. I tried them out a few years ago but started on their Alchemy Index albums which are a departure from their normal style and I couldn't get into them

When I was a little kid my dad listened to Miles Davis and my mom listened to the Beatles. Piano, bass, drums, guitar, melody (trpt or vox). The majority of the sound being made was by the same instruments. I didn't even know to make a 'style' distinction until maybe I was 8 or 9 years old.  The Black Keys, so weird to hear somewhat of a local band so far away from home! I was just out that way too. Around 3 weeks ago I was having lunch with a friend at Ripper's Rock House. I know your sitting there going Ripper sound familiar! Yes that legendary man Sir Tim "The Ripper" Ownes!
