I got my USB mic today. I'm still learning how to use the thing and I'll study up on using reaper.

I've recorded some vocal tracks today using audacity, without backing tracks and most of it sucks. But it has given me hope of ever learning to sing properly.

The sound is incredible but I'm glad I ordered a pop filter to go with it.

I'll make your ears bleed hopefully soon

Forgot to mention the mic model. It's a Samson G track.

It's a Samson G track. It's the first condensator usb mic that's been made (at least that is what the company claims)



There is always latency with whatever instrument you're using. But for the purpose of convenience I can pretty much say zero.

I would be interested to hear it too! How does it work without a preamp? Does it have preamp built in?

The mic has an preamp build in and the computer functions as the amp and recording device.

I´ll make some sound samples after I did shopping today.

Congrats man on your new mic ! I'm really interested in those sound samples..Samson makes pretty decent gear
