Works fine for me - sorry, I know that doesn't help ...

Did you try Gearbox? That does the same as Line6 Edit, worth a try.

Regarding the Monkey - assuming everything can access the internet ok, try temporarily disabling your firewall (but only for enough time to see if it makes the connection). If that works, its a firewall issue.

BTW, are you using Vista or XP?

Can't help you with the Monkey. But had the other problem too - it's the version of Java you have installed:

"Java VM Version: 1.6.0_01"

Java 5 (or 1.5.0, depending on what version number you look at) is the only one that works - Java 6 (1.6.0) won't work. So you should uninstall Java 6 and go back to 5 tongue.gif (nothing I'm aware of requires version 6 anyway).

Interesting - I checked that when Ezra posted and I have the exact same version, but no problems ...

May have been fixed since I last used the software (a week or so ago). But Line6 says:

http://line6.com/support/thread.jspa?messa...1586&#31586

http://line6.com/support/ann.jspa?annID=17

(Note that I have Windows XP and, contrary to what Line6 says, it has the same problem as on Vista - as soon as I allow Java to update itself to 1.6.0)

I shut off my anti virus program Kaspersky on XP and it didnt make a difference, I cantt come up with any other program which is a firewall or virusprogram.
I always have windows firewall off.

and ill try gearbox also because i really want to download sounds biggrin.gif

here is the whammy sound for our dear andrew smile.gif
I recommend setting the heel at -1 because, at my pod the pedal whole the way down it goes to like 6% so its always I bit whammied.
I suggest setting the heel to -1 which makes the notes normal when having the pedal at the lowest point.
rename whammy.mp3 to whammy.l6t wink.gif
