Ok.....another for the Mix gods smile.gif

I use a Korg D3200 in our home studio,,,,just as a reference for anybody who maybe familiar with this unit.

I record everything in Stereo...left and right tracks coming out of the Boss GT8...I feed that into a yamaha mixer to reduce some of the digital sounding stuff...and it seems to work a bit.....

For this recording, I doubled up the rhythm guitar to two more tracks. Ran one set clean added some flange o the other.

I also doubled up the bass....one fat, one thin.

Dragged the drums way way down....

The lead is just one pair of tracks and I added a bit of delay to them via the Korg DAW.

I did EQ everything independently and then just a touch on the master.... I don't like to overdo EQs....

I kept this Jam pretty simple....no heavy theory or rough tecnics to get in the way. Wanted to focus more on the mix.

Feedback is most certainly welcome. I've made some changes that were recommended in another thread that I posted here....but I'm certain I'm far from getting everything perfect.

Thank you in advance for giving this a listen....

Sounds nice and laid back. low mids are muddy, bass and two guitars are all in there. I suggest clearing that area a bit. Also track lacks some presence, try to master the whole thing by adding a multiband compressor and puttind some mild compression on amplified highs. Sweep the range for the sweet spot.
