GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Should I Buy This Guitar?

http://www.michaelkellyguitars.com/images/sm_patriot_premium_sbw_LS.gif. My Dad says he'll buy it for christmas, if i give him one of my guitars. i played this beast at sam ash, and it beat many of the gibsons i tried. What do you guys think? Anyone else played it?

That's alot of guitar for the money: 600-700 range. I'd say go for it.

I've heard quite good things about that guitar, it's amazing that you can decent guitars nowadays for pretty reasonable prices...I'd say go for it if you like the guitar, my only advice is play as many as you can before making your decision so you don't have any regrets, the Ephiphone Prophecy and some Schecter models have EMGs in this price range and seem decent as well

Check the Schecters out too, see which one rips harder. I just got a Schecter hellraiser C-1 FR that is ALOT of guitar for the money.... That MK axe looks gorgeous though with that quilt top I must say!

Well I would go for it , why not..Only I would suggest to sound check once again that same model in the store to see if its what you want and than go and buy it..

Depends on what you're giving him, maybe not trade it in for your PRS Mark Tremonti

But looks like a cool guitar and bets are you're dad don't expect to make any profit on this deal so go for it!

I didn't play it mate, but if you do like it that much than I think it would make a great present. More guitars is always a good thing, and this guitar is a quality one.
