For you to be riffing and recording like this at 7 months is just awesome. My only suggestion would be to mute slightly less on the low E string when chugging away like that- personal prefernce i guess but i dont like it fully choked off. You should be really happy with your progress man smile.gif

WOW, All I can say is 'Ffffff eyee yhaaaa'

Nice, 7 months. I don't think I could play a chord at 7 months...

Pretty decent recording also, what did you use?

One suggestion, next time you record try using a metronome...

Well done..

Good playing for only having played for 7 months. Keep at it, and keep working with the metronome.

well played man! as Caelumamittendum says, you could follow a metronome and improv your tekes. But to be honest, you play very good for only 7 months. congrants! keep on practicing! biggrin.gif

Agreed. Another good suggestion on working on timing is to join a band. I know some people say, that you ought to work with a metronome to get your timing right and then join a band and keep working with the metronome, but I can definately find sense in joining a band (maybe a beginner band), as it would make "working on timing" much more fun.

On a side note, Lian, how did you manage to spell my nickname here!? laugh.gif

I thought you did great on your first recording.
Your way better than i was at 7 months smile.gif

Hey man, that sounds very cool. I can hear that you really played hard to achieve this kind of tight riffing. This is great man, I like your muting technique, just keep practicing, and it will be great. Take it slowly and don't forget to play clean ! smile.gif
