There's been a few desktop threads but they're years old so let's start a new one ! What images are you currently rocking ?
(P.S. I'll say it now so the mods don't have to: No nudity)
I always go for landscapes. Usually Norway.. this one is Tuscany, Italy.

I feel like a minimalist, can't stand all those extra icons everywhere!
I tend to use darker backgrounds, so that it doesn't give off a ton of light, but still looks good.
Edit: Just clicked auto color in photoshop.
Looks better in brown/orange overtones! Wooo! happy wallpaper day!
I think the first looks better !! It looks like Thief but it's not is it ?

Sure man! Yeah we have pretty nice summers up here, our high temp for this summer was 91 F or 32.7 C. Here are a couple shots from the later part of the summer taken from my deck.
This one looks southeast.

And this one looks south, southwest.

Well an hour later I finally found a new wallpaper. Much needed change after looking at my current one for months!
Something is wrong with me, if it's not dark and crazy I dislike it.

Not necessarily... fantastical imagery takes us somewhere else.. that's what fantasy is for !!
Speaking of dark imagery, I recently finished the game Dante's Inferno.. the imagery in that game is stunning !

Taking screenshots of my desktop @ 4.33am in the morning, happy weekend!
My desktop is huge (2560x1600 Ultra HD), with pretty much nothing on it - nice and clean. I've resized it down for size. I like it but change the images around every now and then, last time I had Farcry 3. Try figure out what that creature is?

Yeah, I think some people like to use their desktop to express things that they are interested in and some use it to project back relaxing imagery. I'm definitely one of the latter types

I agree with Ben I like relaxing nature pictures too!
