Never been into playing with tunings apart from the very occasional Drop D and I'm not a metal guy so I chose E ...

If a song is in anything but E I don't bother playing it, haha.
Now if I had multiple guitars I would, but until then.... nope. |

E for me as well. I would switch it up now and then but tuning a floyd rose makes me keep in E.

I use E standard when I'm playing at home, D with my band, and sometimes Eb when I learn/practice SRV stuff.

Hard to choose. Any could sound heavy. But I chose Eb.

Standard E for most playing, drop D occasional for the more heavy stuff.

I enjoy D standard the most and I occasionally tune to drop C.
