I like E and Drop D myself. I love drop tuning for the sound, but I like E for the classics.

Never been into playing with tunings apart from the very occasional Drop D and I'm not a metal guy so I chose E ...

If a song is in anything but E I don't bother playing it, haha.

Now if I had multiple guitars I would, but until then.... nope.

E for me as well. I would switch it up now and then but tuning a floyd rose makes me keep in E.

Although I Alway have my guitar in Standard.

I love to tune it down to Eb because that is what Hendrix, SRV, Slash etc. play in.

So when you play songs like Voodoo Child or Sweet Child o' mine it sounds right. smile.gif

I use E standard when I'm playing at home, D with my band, and sometimes Eb when I learn/practice SRV stuff.

when im jamming with my mate ill use Drop C for our metal songs, but at home when playing with my fav bands, doing exercises or trying to put some theory into practice ill always use E for simplicity.

Hard to choose. Any could sound heavy. But I chose Eb.
